PantryByKarthik is a small corner of the internet where I explore food, not as an expert, but as someone who is genuinely curious. I’ve always been fascinated by the ingredients we use every day—how they are grown, how they’re processed, why they taste and behave the way they do, and how the food industry shapes what finally reaches our homes. This curiosity comes from my real-world experience running a small-scale startup where I source staples directly from farmers across Tamil Nadu. Working closely with them has taught me more than any book ever could, and it pushed me to understand the journey of food in a deeper, more honest way.

PantryByKarthik is not a textbook.It’s not a guidebook. It’s simply a place to think, learn, and talk about food openly.

PantryByKarthik is not meant to be a perfect platform. It’s a learning space—my evolving notes, reflections, and thoughts about food, ingredients, traditions, and the industry around them. What This Space Is About

This platform is simply an extension of that journey. I’m not here to preach or instruct—I’m here to learn, document my understanding, share what I see, and grow along with a community that loves food as much as I do. At times, you may find me talking about the products I source; it may sound like I’m upselling, and in a way, I am—because I’m working hard to build a transparent, small business with integrity. But I want that to happen naturally, honestly, and only if what I share with you resonates.
